PCR: Post Consumer Recycled consumer plastic recycling
Generally, people call waste plastics generated after circulation, consumption, and use as post-consumer plastics (ie, Post Consumer Recycling, referred to as PCR).
The purpose is not to turn waste plastics such as mineral water bottles, optical discs, and electrical enclosures used in daily life into domestic garbage, and then to recycle, pelletize, and reuse.
Recycling process:
Pretreatment (dismantling, sorting, cleaning), crushing, melting, drawing granulation and other process links.
What is GRS certified PCR material
The Global Recycling Standard (GRS) is promoted by the Textile Exchange. It aims to encourage the reduction of resource consumption (original raw materials, water and energy) and improve the quality of recycled products. For environmental claims verified by a third party, GRS certification requires the following evidence:
The content of recycled materials in the product (intermediate and finished products)
Comply with environmental and social standards in all sectors of the production chain. All products that consist of at least 20% of pre-consumer and post-consumer recycled materials can pass GRS certification. The GRS standard covers the following areas: the composition of the product and the content of recycled materials, maintaining traceability throughout the production process, and restricting the use of chemicals.
The recycling of waste plastics is an important measure that not only saves energy, but also helps protect the environment.
In terms of resource utilization, recycling 1 ton of waste plastics is equivalent to saving 6 tons of petroleum resources.
PIR:Post Industrial Recycled Industrial Plastic Recycling
Its source is generally nozzles, sub-brands, defective products, etc. produced during factory injection of products. Materials produced in industrial production processes or processes, commonly known as nozzle materials, waste materials, are directly recycled from the factory and reused.
Compared with PCR, it is much easier to deal with. If there are no special circumstances, it can be recycled directly from the factory, reused, and crushed immediately to regenerate pellets.
In recent years, people have begun to reduce plastic consumption because we have realized the impact of plastics on the environment and the ocean.
In addition to being unfavorable to the environment, the ever-increasing amount of plastic in the ocean also affects wildlife and humans.

(Summary description)A wide variety of mold steels can be used to make injection molds. The following table lists the properties of commonly used mold steels and the typical mold parts that can be manufactured with them. Soft metals such as aluminum and beryllium copper can be used to make prototype workpiece molds or short-term production molds with fewer than 10,000 workpieces.
